The fastest, easiest, and most stress-free way
for your prized show dog to travel to the

AKC National Championship
Dog Show

If you’re like many of our clients, you don’t want to spend the time or money it takes to send your dog across the country for days or weeks in a van every year for the AKC National Championship.

Plus, you know how stressful it is for a purebred dog to sit in a crate for hours and hours every day on the road.

We’re offering a first-of-its-kind show dog-dedicated shared charter between Los Angeles, CA and Orlando, FL for the 2024 AKC National Championship Dog Show.

Sending your dog by airplane is the fastest and easiest way to travel to the world’s premiere event for show dogs… and when you book a shared private charter flight, your prized pooch will arrive refreshed and ready to take on the competition!

Roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles to Orlando

Your dog will enjoy the calm and safety of traveling in the passenger cabin by their handler’s side, or in a comfortable, dogs-only aircraft accompanied by a trained, professional Signature Pet Transport Travel Guardian.

Your purebred will enjoy unparalleled comfort and safety

With almost 48 inches of leg room at each seat, your dog can sit on their handler’s lap or on the floor and stretch out comfortably. No crates or carriers are required for dogs on the passenger plane, which makes this perfect for traveling comfortably with a large dog. On the dogs-only plane, each dog will need their own crate for safety.

Just walk onboard and deplane in minutes

These flights operate out of private airports and terminals, so your dog won’t be stressed by the crowds, the noise, and general chaos of a commercial airport. Private security screening means no hassle.

THE DETAILS

Passengers

One purchased seat entitles one human to bring one dog (any size) OR a maximum of two small dogs that weigh under 50 pounds each.

If you have two dogs that each weigh 51 pounds or more, you will need to purchase two seats. This is to ensure the comfort and safety of everyone onboard.

Luggage

Your ticket enables you to bring up to 80 pounds of luggage.

This could be a suitcase for you plus your dog’s crate or tack box filled with their food, grooming, and show supplies.

Traveling to and from the AKC National Championship has never been so stress-free!

How it Works

Reserve space on the flight

Your signed contract and payment reserves the seats and space in your quote. Then, your handler and dog(s) can show up at the private LA-based airport, board the aircraft, and enjoy the stress-free direct service to Orlando.

Let us know who is traveling

This flight can accommodate handlers, assistants, dogs of all sizes, and even luggage and tack. We’ll create a quote for you that outlines the entire cost of the trip based on the number of passengers and the best price.

Your champion arrives refreshed and stress-free

Instead of bouncing along in a crate while driving for DAYS across the country, your show dog arrives relaxed, refreshed, and ready to win after only a handful of HOURS of comfortable travel.

Why you can NO LONGER AFFORD to drive across the country to show your dog!

A roundtrip journey from Los Angeles to Orlando is approximately 5,000 miles, which will cost you:

  • 8–10 days of driving 8–10 hours per day

  • $1,565 for 313 gallons of gas at $5 per gallon and 16 miles per gallon.

  • $1,050 in hotel expenses for 7 nights at a 2- or 3-star hotel for $150 per night.

  • $450 in meal expenses at $50 per day.

  • $500 in vehicle wear and tear at about $0.10 per mile for 5,000 miles

Sure, your trip will cost you $3,565 in cash… BUT you’ll still need to pay your handler (and their assistants) to spend all that time driving across the country, which could cost anywhere from $2,000–4,000

The truth is, sending your dog cross-country on the road will cost you between $6,000 & $8,000 roundtrip, AND the 8-10 days of your handler’s time.

What some of our professional show dog clients have to say!

Janice Hayes

Co-owner and handler of Ch. Soletrader Buddy Holly, 2023 Westminster Kennel Club Best in Show Winner:

“I trust him. I know I will get updates along the way. The owners will get updates along the way. You know the health documents will be spot on.

So going into other countries is not a problem because you've already done it all, it's truly ‘you get what you pay for with everything.’”

Val Nunes-Atkinson:

All-breed professional handler, two-time Westminster Kennel Club Best in Show-winner, and FOX Sports commentator for the 148th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show:

“Communication, absolutely, NUMBER ONE. I mean, I think when I send my babies off, I've whelped 'em. I've raised them to eight weeks and then they're going off to new homes, which in itself is really hard on our hearts.

But then to have someone like Christian or someone from his company that I can trust fully, that they're real dog people, they know dogs and they CARE. They really care. And then they're gonna communicate with me all the way, like from beginning to end and videos and pictures, which is always nice too.”

How much does a shared private charter flight cost?

A mistake people make is thinking the “do-it-yourself” route is cheaper. As we’ve seen, the tangible costs and the costs of spending 8–10 days on the road just to drive to and from the show quickly add up, not to mention the toll on your dog!

So next, people say, “Oh, I can just ship my dog in cargo underneath the aircraft.” Which is possible! You can put your prized show dog in a crate and let the airline cram it in the dark, noisy, and cold cargo hold.

If you’re like us (and our clients who are top breeders and show winners), you want your purebred show dog to arrive at their destination in great form to take on the competition in the show ring, not disoriented, stressed, and sore from the journey.

The only solution is to travel with your dog in the comfort of the aircraft cabin onboard a shared private charter flight.

Roundtrip passenger airfare for this trip is $8,997.
