Gidget the Welsh Springer Spaniel with SPT Founder, Christian

I founded Signature Pet Transport to help your precious pet safely travel from where they are to where they need to go.

There are so many things to consider when traveling with a pet before you even make it to the airport: the time it takes, government regulations, health requirements, booking flights, airline rules, breed restrictions, aircraft restrictions, flight availability, itineraries, getting the correct travel bag. The list goes on and on!

On the trip you have another set of considerations: checking in with pets, going through special security screening, navigating the airport, locating pet relief areas, managing nervous pets, what happens if my pet has an accident?, feeding, providing water, giving medications, and more.

I saw so many people in need of someone they could trust with the most precious of cargo, their beloved family pet.

We bring peace of mind to pet travel. Let us deal with the details. Rely on our expertise in the industry to get your pet from where they are to where they need to go. Rest easy knowing that your beloved pet will be loved and cared for like family. Always.

The best service ever. Christian was extremely professional. He kept us up to date on his cross country progress with our puppy. He even sent pictures and videos.

Christian’s Story

Since I was a young child, I’ve always had an affinity for animals; an innate ability to sense their needs. This has stayed with me throughout my life. I grew up with pets of all kinds; from the smallest mice to the largest cattle, and everything in between.

While in school, I was an active member of the 4-H and FFA, and went on to study Animal Sciences/Pre-Veterinary Medicine at university. Later, as a young adult, I interned with an animal pharmaceuticals company and started my own business in marine aquarium design, installation and maintenance. I decided I wanted to see the world and began my career as a flight attendant. I’ve had the opportunity to travel all over the United States, from the smallest regional airports to the largest, bustling international hubs. My travels have taken me across the globe to countless cities and countries.

As an adult, I re-kindled my passion for raising and showing animals. I raised and showed gorgeous purebred chickens. I’m proud to say, my birds have won many awards and recognitions throughout the years.

I wanted to give back to the animal organizations and communities that raised me. I volunteered with the local 4-H Club as their Youth Leader where I had the privilege of nurturing young people’s passion for animals.

Naturally, showing dogs was the next evolution. I own and show an adorable and loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Romeo and two beautiful Xoloitzcuintli named Julian and Enola. They bring so much love and joy into my life. They may be champion show dogs but they are first and foremost my beloved pets, my family.
